Chances of a concert at the showbox later that night? Not zero.

This is going to turn into a mess. Especially with 2 lines - one for the early entrants and one for for everyone else.

Don't. I did it in NYC for the LP and I'm still pissed.

Unless waiting hours in line for t shirts is your thing, then go ahead.

I don't know if there is any Pearl Jam item I would wait overnight in order to purchase.

For what it's worth, the Showbox people are great at this stuff, and the lines aren't going to be an issue, although I don't see someone there from 10C checking everyone's membership to let them in. Although, who knows. Some of the events they have done like this before have been a lot of fun. I have a feeling that this one is really just a cash grab (like everything else) and not really something "for the fans", as we are led to believe. They are raising money to donate, so I am wondering if there will be any deals or if things will be sold at a premium.

What constitutes proof of membership? I sent 10C an email, but I did not receive a response.

Nothing in these news item says anything about being a Ten Club member. Are you getting it mixed up with the New York one that opened early for Ten Club members? http://pearljam.com/news/0/1/22108/pear ... december_7

Ah, maybe. Def wasn't the night before LB came out. Even the most hardcore card carrying 10C dweebs were pissed off at that shit show.

This one also opens an hour earlier for 10c members who bring a wrapped gift worth at least 15 dollars. I just can't imagine them checking IDs against 10c memberships. It would take forever.

Maybe if you just give them your name, and they check if it's on the roll. Checking your ID would be pretty rough.

If someone wants to buy me something cool, I'll give you my real name and send you the pdf of my membership card.

I got a response - they said they will be checking membership cards. It's found in downloads. My membership number wasn't on it.
