TV: Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Still my favorite comedy on TV currently. Thunder gun Express was a highlight of last season.

I have a feeling some might feel the opposite, but that online video game episode from this past season was one of their best.

Dennis has been killing it lately.

The Gang Gets Analyzed was another good one.

Yes. Absolutely one of the funniest comedies on TV. I haven't seen the most current season, but I got caught up through season seven on Netflix a few months ago. I love this show.

watching the latest season on netflix. I'm afraid this show has jumped the shark. Still has its moments, though.

Yeah it was a rough one. Some of the episodes it seems like they had a great title/premise, and no interest in building on that. Others were just 100% callback pieces.

I guess as long as Roddy Piper's getting work, who can complain...

I loved the quarantine episode. I thought the finale was also solid.

I'm only 4 or so episodes in. yeah, just because they acknowledge they are repeating themselves, doesn't exactly make it ok.
Spoiler: show
Charlie going off on the rich girl was pretty great though. Who knew he was such a bastard?

Flowers for Charlie and the quarantine episode were ok, but totally missed opportunities.

Unsurprisingly, I thought this most recent season was stellar. There were only two episodes that I thought were letdowns. Everything else was fantastic. I liked it more than season seven. And I haven't seen season eight.

Started watching Season 8 now that it's on Netflix. The first couple of episodes weren't especially inspired. I liked the ideas behind them, but definitely felt they were sort of awkward, and unfinished ideas. The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre was fun and a good bridge out of the weird recycled plots into something a little different. Charlie and Dee Find Love and The Gang Gets Analyzed were just out of the park hilarious. Great couple of episodes.

That's as far as I've gotten. So far, I'd say Season 9 is better.

Finally caught up. Yeah, that trial episode is fantastic. Decent season. Not as good as 9. But I liked it none the less. It did feel fairly wheel spinny throughout. But there's plenty to redeem it.
