It's such bullshit that they didnt develop this show properly. It might be the best thing on TV.

i dunno why its not as popular as other hbo shows. maybe we just like it b/c we tend to be music nerds here, and they have some of the best and most diverse music on tv.

Wife loves it, but it has too many story lines that I couldn't give a shit about..that Texan real estate guy, for instance.

im not a big fan of his story line either, but its interesting to see how his interests intersect w/ the locals, like chief lambreaux

Well not much happens, theres certainly no shock factor with this one. It's still great though, it's just a really well done show and you get great music along with it. I wish we were given more.

My buddy, Ben Nichols, was in last nights episode. He played Anne's new boyfriend, I guess.....and his band Lucero got some TV time, too!

I thought this ended as well as you could expect given the time constraints. This season basically just tied up loose ends from the previous one. I wish this hadnt been axed.

I'm not sure what they should have done instead but the last episode felt kind of meh. Loved the rest of this season though.
