Can we include write-ups to go along with the mixes we create, so that the recipient can have an idea of what went into the song selections, sequencing, etc? I've been involved in mix exchanges in the past where even though I didn't immediately dig a song as much as the mix creator obviously did, I liked knowing what they were going for…and in some cases it's helped me appreciate something more so than I might have on my own.

Only if B was in charge.

Nope. Maybe partner is not the right word. Your mixtape-maker will not be the same person as your mixtape-recipient (except in one very specific case where the randomizer I used turned out that way)

If you're using a program like audacity you can lower the level of each track. Either go to the relevant track within the program and lower the level or there should be an option in the menu.

What programme are you using?

Hmmm, ok. I was using Zune software (got a windows phone), but it was doing some weird things with one of the albums I have. So I switched over to Windows Media Player. I could download something else.

As recommended by Chud and Platy, I got a free dl of Audacity. It's easy to use and will do all that you need, then you can save it as a single file. Any questions you can PM me (or Chud or Platy). Good luck.
