"Getaway" is really about Ed's frustration with how Jeff is always just there , modestly doing his thing, living a life of peace and serenity, embodying the values that Ed pretends to emulate, and Ed just can't stand it.

So Ed tries not to thank Jeff at the end of shows to intentionally provoke a negative response from Jeff so that he can point to it and be like "see, Jeff's not perfect, see ... but I am, now where was I, Oh yeah: durpety durpety doo bill gates"

LetMeSleep wrote:I listened to Stip's tracklist yesterday (after not listening to the album for a fortnight or so). There's some good stuff here. They sequenced it poorly (Stip did a better job) and there are 3-4 terrible tracks but if I'm honest it is as good as I'd wanted/expected. The mic distortion on Pendulum still irritates the hell out of me though.
Can you post this improved tracklist? I'll take a listen. I haven't been through the album in few weeks.

Honestly, there may be a bit of RM-contagion on this song. After Wrigley everyone was quick to shit on it, but I really find it to be a beautiful.

I can't really decide if reversing LTRP and SBM sounds better. But I was a fan of this mix.

i hate, hate Future Days. Just hate it. Not the production, not eddie´s delivery...the whole song.
This record ends with Yellow Moon.

I deleted LTRP, LB and FD. It holds up. But I listen to the Session 1 tracks more often.

Alright. I listened hard to Yield yesterday. LB doesn't touch it.
It's still better than RA -> BS though.

this is a good list, it puts the 3 songs i skip at the end so i can just turn it off after SBM and end w/ an excellent, excellent record.

this is pearl jam's best album since 'yield'
