All weights tonight, the most sets I've done in a night, but not sure yet how i feel about the work out, i have a good amount of tightness in my shoulders and arms, but not really in my chest or abs and i did 6 sets on bench press, 4 sets on the pec fly and 6 sets of crunches, but i have a tendency to adjust the seat wrong on all of them and hurt my work out.
I was planning on running tonight but did about an hour on the weights and was ready to go home, but will run for 30 minutes again Thursday and as long as i can after weights on Friday so i should be ok.

For adrenaline based workouts, my go to is Blink-182 - Enema of the State or punk music with lots of attitude. Looking for 180+ bpm, keeping me focused on being a jack-ass on wheels or snowboard. Hard to be a pansy while Last Caress is blasting.
Cardio based workouts, classic rock. Looking for something familiar, making it easy to concentrate on what I'm doing regularly and not too fast. Dazed and Confused live is a favourite.
Free weights, I almost always go acoustic or reggae. Looking for something to slow the adrenaline and the motion. Cliche'd but Bob Marley is my usual gym companion.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Well, look at me, I was named the Yogi of the month at my studio. Don't mind if I do pat myself on the back.

its been life changing being at that studio. So, in all seriousness im pretty pumped about that. There are so many incredible people coming through the studio. Good times.

And, hopefully, this just opens the door to getting laid by more yoga chicks 8-)

I listened to nothing but Mogwai during my peak years of ultrarunning. I like getting into a trance when running long and not having vocals to focus on helps with that.

I still listen to mostly post rock. Although, I like Rancid and Spoon when trying for a PR.

Spoon's The Way We Get By may be the perfect running song.

Edit: Also, congrats Strat!

Lately the Distillers - Coral Fang has been my go to. I always feel destroyed (in a good way) after listening to them during a workout.

One of the rare instances of this expression being used literally.

Pretty good workout tonight, i ran 2.88 miles in 30 minutes and 3 miles total in 32:02

Then i struggled to get my leg work out in because i like to start with the seated leg press but the machine was being used and as soon as the one guy was done another jumped right on it, so i waited a bit then just started with the calf extension, then was able to get the leg press in, Then leg extension and finally leg curls, but the delay in starting the workout after my run feel like it hurt my results a bit.

And Im home now with stomach issues again :gomez: i think tonight was my longest run at my highest constant speed, so Im thinking that was the cause

Worked on shoulders with free weights tonight, then chest press and pec fly, ab crunch, shoulder press, lat raise, curls and tricep press, then followed it up with a quick run of 1.03 miles in 10 minutes. Im pretty sure that was,my first mile at or under 10 minutes since I've been back running :D

10 miles in 66 minutes

I went a full week between runs and felt super awkward for the first few miles. After the turnaround, I got caught up in the 12Ks of Christmas race along the canal. My competitive spirit got the best of me and I made it my mission to catch as many people as I could. I was running 6-minute miles along this section. I had nothing left for a finishing kick. 35 out. 31 back.

10 miles in 69 minutes

Ran at 4 in the morning in my tights and running jacket. Actually saw another dude running on the canal. Didn't feel so great for the first couple of miles, but I focused on my form and everything just kinda fell into place. 35 out. 34 back with a wimpy finishing kick. Time for some new shoes, approaching 1,000 miles on my current 1600s.
