This Mark Lanegan version is alright though, for a single performer. And I say this as someone who isn't a fan...

I think Lanegan's version is outstanding, simple yet stunning. But then again I'm a fan and yeah this is also one of my fav Christmas tunes.

Any of you familiar with "The Marvelous Toy" by Tom Paxton? That was my favorite as a kid.

If pressed to choose a favorite Christmas song today, I'd have to go with "Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano.
