It was a real shame when they took the caffeine and taurine out of them. Now I'm more of a Jager and Red Bull man.

You can't really go wrong with anything off of Cowboys From Hell.

you know how hard it is to get a jagerbomb in the city of Austin these days? Fucking bartenders look at you like you just crawled out of a trailer. I'm like "motherfucker you go out of your way to dress like people who can't read. Shave off that ridiculous moustache and make my fucking drink."

just think: while you encounter those rare moments of alienation, Harry Lime endures such a feeling all day, every day in modern society

It doesn't deserve your time.
That's not true. If it were really not worth our time, everybody else would have pointed that out and discussed it, and then you would have come in a week after the fact to say it like it was news.

And I'd be right.

I re-watched the Red Letter Phantom review, wow, amazing work. He really nails it, I mean, that's it exactly.

Hadn't seen the Sith one, so looking forward to watching that one later.

Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy said: "I am very excited about the story we have in place and thrilled to have Larry and JJ working on the script. There are very few people who fundamentally understand the way a Star Wars story works like Larry, and it is nothing short of incredible to have him even more deeply involved in its return to the big screen. JJ of course is an incredible storyteller in his own right.

"Michael Arndt has done a terrific job bringing us to this point and we have an amazing filmmaking and design team in place already prepping for production."

Excited! Thrilled! Incredible! Incredible again! Terrific! Amazing!

Also this is almost blinding.

I don't know who on earth took the time to make it, but it's like looking at a California Raisins commercial:

Kasdan writing a stand alone Boba Fett movie?

In all the furore surrounding Star Wars Episode VII, it's possible you may have forgottenthat in between the numbered sequels, Disney is also planning a series of standalone Star Wars films based around single characters from the mythology. It's been a while since we've heard any rumours about those, but here comes no less a source than Metalocalypse director and self-described "sweaty movie nerd" Jon Schnepp. He's claiming that he knows "for a fact" that one of those spin-offs will belong to Boba Fett, and that the screenplay is being written by Lawrence Kasdan.

"I know they haven't announced it," he told the host of AMC's Philippines disaster relief charity talk marathon, "but one of those one-shots is Boba Fett. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan."

This has been a rumour for some time prior to this story, and, to be frank, remains one in its wake, since there's no indication of why Schnepp would be particularly privy to this top secret information.

But it's certainly not an outlandish idea. Last spring the announcement came that Kasdan and Simon Kinberg are developing these spin-off films, with the later reveal that we're talking about origin stories. Kasdan's involvement with the series is established, and a one-shot film for fan favourite Fett would seem like a no-brainer.

There are caveats however: not least that since the announcement of the spin-offs, Kasdan has jumped tracks and become far more involved with Episode VII itself (as well, possibly, as VIII and IX). Could he still be working on a one-shot as well as the main game? Did he write a draft screenplay or treatment for an origin story and then set it aside when called to assist JJ Abrams? Will Disney's plan for a new Star Wars film every year starting in 2015 even pan out?

As usual there are many questions and no answers. But if Boba Fett (or Yoda, or IG88, or whatever) is due in 2016, expect to hear something official about it in the next twelve months.

People like Boba Fett let's make some money off that won't it detract from the character's value if we overexpose them sure but we'll be fucking rich and you'll be able to buy all the dick you can eat

Boba has already been ruined. Star Wars has been ruined. Why are you guys freaking out? They will either make more shitty movies or good ones. Lucas destroyed the property. He demystified one of the all time great screen villains and colored over the original trilogy with crayons. The idiot thought CGI Yoda looked better than puppet Yoda. He's insane. He even fucked up Indiana Jones. Taking Star Wars away from him was the greatest achievement in entertainment history. God bless Disney. Even if only 33% of Disney's Star Wars output turns out good it's a win.
