There has to be a Toronto show for LB. And if so, I'll be going!

Denver. They really should play Denver in 2014. It's a great city and would be good to the band.

Is there any Candlestick Park post-49ers concerts or events planned? They didn't play San Francisco this year. I'm not sure if it will be demolished soon, but it would be a cool "Evening with PJ" destination event.

It would be half empty.

With the baseball configuration with no fans in the outfield that would be 40k -50k. You don't think they would be able to sell it out if there were no other nearby shows?

I think theyd pretty much have to give away the last 10-15k to have a shot.

The stadium is a shithole (so I've been told) and they played Oakland on this tour. While I'd love another west coast tour it's probably not going to happen.

Now, Coachella is an interesting possibility. I doubt it happens but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. If they do play Coachella I could see a few other dates in the West, perhaps in places they didn't cover on this past tour.

I'm speculating.

This. IIRC, only Seattle, Brooklyn, and Baltimore sold out day one on the last tour and that was at the height of LB's promotion. And Candlestick is no Wrigley Field.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Spectrum than Wrigley. That sold about 80k over 4 nights. 50k with no nearby dates plus the nostalgia factor is more than feasible. Looking back, Candlestick has had it's fair share of history.

So...anything new on the US tour rumor mill?

I see Montreal being rumored along side Toronto.

FYI the 2010 US tour was announced about 3 months after the 2010 Euro dates. It was announced about 8 weeks before the leg started. I hope for more advanced notice.

I wonder if lightning bolt will have made it easier or harder to get 10c tickets for the next go-around in the US.

I think the fact they they went full on to 3 hour plus shows will make it harder. I am in the other camp. While I like the shows long, I can't do too many of them as it just seems a little too much to me. I can see another midwest swing wrapping on the east coast like in 2010. That has to be the reason matt isn't doing anything with $oundgarden, If not, what was the point?

I thought I just read something about getting McCartney to play it? since the Beatles last concert was there way back in 60whatever? Which would make sense, and, ya know hell sell it out.

Mad Season is the only non Eddie PJ side thing I've ever been able to get into.

The Stone Gossard solo albums are fantastic.
