So, you're going to actually make me pick something from Backspacer?

That suck

Those songs are so distracting when they're in a mix.

Plus they suck.

Suck.

I've got mine pretty much done but I'd like to give it a proper listening before I submit it, do we have until tomorrow?

Same here, even though we didn't have to turn one in with our list, i still put my mix together in audacity so i could her how the songs worked with each other

Oh, I couldn't have done it any other way. I've heard some of these songs hundreds of times but I still needed to hear how each one began, ended, and flowed into the next. Did this one rock too hard? Did that one drop the mood too low? Do I even like that song? And then when I thought it was ready, I went and changed the last 3 songs. I did enjoy the process though, and I think I'm happy with the result.

As much as I hate Backspacer, when you are trying to do something like this, it vibes better with the rest of the catalog than Ten does.

Finished my playlist. Realised I'd forgotten LB as an album. Says it all really. Ummmm.

And Ten sounds like another band.

Good point. Agreed.

It's just the songs are good enough on Ten to make up for it

I thought riot act and vs songs were the easiest to work with in the mix. Vitalogy was surprisingly difficult as well

I still listen to the mix I made for this contest a few years ago. I think I like my new one better though. I went less for theme and more for flow.

That's what i did, i picked a bunch of songs i thought i wanted to use and then picked my opener and kinda let it decide what went after it
