he really does, and, he didnt even die in X-3, they all but foretold it within the movie before the end credits tease.

He died way back around X-men 45-50? only to come back from the dead 2 issues before the original book got cancelled lol

its not official yet... one major fight scene early in the movie that was deemed unimportant to the story has been cut in which she was heavily featured... There was a few screen shots of her standing near Bobby and Kitty floated awhile back.. so the odds of her being OUT of the movie entirely are doubted, BUT any major part at this point seems slim.

with movies being digital now, and not costing as much to produce for the theaters as they were in the age of reels, I dont see why movies get cut down SO much. The studios always come up with these magic numbers... we want this movie 1 hour 55 mins, this movie should be under 2 hours 10 mins... wish more directors could get Peter Jacksons leeway (although even he has had some scenes cut that should have stayed in the movie.)

Very very few movies need to be longer than 2 hours.

That article has a quote from Bryan Singer, the director, saying she's not in the movie. Seems pretty official to me.

and it was Singers initial cut of the movie that shes out, Im not going to put money that shell end up back in? but im also not going to believe shes OUT until theres a final cut and he says yeah, shes on the cutting room floor somewhere.

Honestly Rogue hasnt been great in the movies anyway? so id have no problems leaving her out. Theres still a lot of rumors that Cyclops will indeed appear in this movie too. James Marsden was spotted in the Toronto Airport during the first weeks of filming. So who knows what Singer has going on.

IMDB now has this for X-Force - A time-traveler assembles a team of mutants in order to prevent the wrecked future he came from.

That scene still bugs me. Especially the flamenco guitar and the barkeep with the Mexican accent.
