I dislike the word "worship". I don't worship Christ's story. It just makes sense to me.

Does it make sense to you that he was born of a virgin, brought Lazarus back from the dead, healed a blind man with mud, fed a multitude with a couple of fish,and rose from the dead 3 days after dying?

Or just the peace and humility part?

Personally - I'm cool with all of it.

Ha. I don't know, I wasn't there. It's not really the part that concerns me. But yes, the way he was said to have lived his life. So the virtuous man. Yet, even if he was the "Son of God", I'd imagine it wasn't easy for him (before Calvary).

Aside from surving stuff that people will try and put down to an absurd amount of random occurrences, I guess nothing, but it's been enough to strengthen my faith

No. I was baptized Catholic. I grew up with the stories. That no doubt had an influence. But my experience in life and how I dealt with its adversities were not influenced by any religious structure. It was only later that I delved more deeply and found correlations to the Christian faith, and actually many other faiths. I'm not a student of comparitive religions, but I know theree are a lot of overlapping principles.

But even if you would have placed me before the time of Christ, I would have probably had been a student of Platonism (which heavily influences Christianity).

There are too many layers to this and I can't adequately explain it. I need to do more reading.

I guess a lot of it just has to do with personal faith and the path that I've chosen to believe
