Number of leagues this year - 1.

Number of championships - 1.

Much easier than juggling 6 leagues.

I was in three leagues. Won the consolation playoffs in the one I care about the most :/. Made the championship in one and had a terrible week. Dominated in the championship game in a league I tried to get out of at the last minute.

The same.

What grinds my gears? Justin Tucker's insane kicking performace last week knocked me out of championship play. And this week I would have destroyed both the championship teams playing.

I would have won a $1,000 :gomez:

I won the championship in my important league. The most interesting thing about my team is the players I didn't have on my roster.

I didn't have Peyton Manning or Drew Brees
I didn't have Jamaal Charles or LeSean McCoy
I didn't have Megatron
I didn't have Jimmy Graham
I didn't have the best kicker
I didn't have either the Seattle or Kansas City defense

I won with QB-RG3/Romo/Terrell Prior (week 17 only)
RB- Forte and Sproles/Ben Tate
WR- AJ Green, Vincent Jackson, and a combo of Dwayne Bowe/Justin Blackmon/D. Hopkins (we start 3 WRs)
TE- Witten
Def- streamed them all year (I used whomever played Jacksonville 9 times)

I was the highest scoring team in the league by a mere 4 points and won the championship game by a score of 206-201. I won a lot of close games but tobring home a championship with that team was pretty close to a miracle.

We had our draft order lottery this weekend. I will be 6th in a 12 team league. The way I see there's four top RBs (Charles, McCoy, Peterson & Forte) and three top QBs (Peyton, Rogers & Brees). I'd be perfectly content with either of those. RB is my most likely direction but it will be really hard to turn down one of those passers. But if I do I'll get one no sooner than RD4.

We had our draft today. A little early but the only time it could work for everyone in the next two weeks. A 12 team league with points for yardage & touchdowns but not true standard scoring. Also TE counts as WR.
I was 6th in a snake draft. I knew I was going to get a top 3 RB or QB, thinking it would come down to Forte or Peterson. I was surprised that Forte went #2 and my choice was Rodgers or Allday. I could not resist leaving Aaron on table. Jimmy Graham fell back around and again he was too good to pass up. I gladly took him over any RBs left on the chart.
I loved my first two picks but knew I was not going to get a marquee RB at this point. I made up for by hopefully picking three straight guys who would be good RB2s: Gore, Vereen & Joique Bell, whom I think will outperform Reggie Bush by season's end. And Vereen & Bell will both get receptions.
At this point I only had one pass catcher going into round six. Vernon Davis was available and I went with him over a true WR. Next round I picked Dallas' Terrence Williams. My eighth pick was Atlanta's rookie back Devonta Freeman. RB was getting picked over and I expect him to see some good playing time this season.
I looked at redzone targets to wrap up. TEs Pitta & Ertz and the Giants' Rueben Randle, whom Matthew Berry & Christopher Harris both had listed as NY's best redzone threat. Tannehill is my backup QB (have to carry one) and my kickers are Mason Crosby, Nick Novak with the Chiefs & Dolphins as my D/STs. Again, start one and bench the other.

i always like to see how people who take a QB in the first round fair come seasons end. i think it's been done three times in our league with one guy going to the championship. i never knock anyone on the way they draft, i just am totally against getting a QB before the 6th round. i guess it really comes down to how the league scoring is set up.

wasn't able to make the draft of the league that's been going for 9 years now. kind of bummed about that. but i'm joining my first money league this year and can't wait.

Last year's starting QBs in our title game were Peyton..and Josh McCown. But I believe that's a big advantage if your QB can put up MVP caliber numbers and nothing like piling up TDs to increase your score. It's such a passing league these days I think you're more likely to get better production from your depth at receiver than rusher. Your rushing depth comes into play with injuries though; my thinking being a backup RB is more likely to get pushed into a real starting lineup than a team's 3-4 WR or second TE.
And I freely admit I was fishing for TDs in the later part the draft before kicker & defense.

Hey guys,

Fantasy draft is 8/29, 10 man ppr flex league. I won it last year and in the draft after the lottery I pick 7th. The guy with the 1st overall pick is gonna take manning which mean that Jimmy Grahram or Eddie lacy will be there. Who should I take?

I only do fantasy football at work to get out of work in my boss's league. I don't really give a shit about it. I might have some questions for you maniacs down the road.
