im a big Rob Zombie fan, but that one is still his worst movie.
So Devil's Rejects is a lot better? I'm thinking of watching it, but I can't take more straight exploitation horror porn.
Its way better. Its really well made, Sid Haig fucking rules and you kinda care about those fuckers.

House of 1000 Corpses was such a Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff, it was pathetic.

Devil's Rejects was an improvement, but not too much. He doesn't make the characters evil - he makes them over the top, annoying, and unlikable. That being said, I liked the shift in tone in making it a 70's exploitation movie, rather than horror. And I love the ending.

I actually liked Halloween, probably his best film (not saying much), but Halloween 2 might be in the top 10 of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I haven't seen Lords of Salem yet.

He really needs to stop casting his wife in his movies.

I loved both of his Halloween movies....his approach of Myers was different and refreshing.

Lords of salem is his "quiet" movie...intense with really nice shots and some cool moments. El Beasto is another cool movie from him.

I love Sheri.

I was kind of shocked to see that We're the Millers grossed 150 million at the American box office. Guaranteed half those earnings were helped by endless t.v ads of Aniston stripping.

Watched "Hunger Games: Catching Fire". Not ashamed to admit I enjoyed it. Not holding back on the oppression/violence from the Capitol described in the book and casting Jeffery Wright and Phillip Seymour Hoffman to fill out the cast were smart moves.

Totally. It's not well written and it's way too obvious. The directorial choices are... choices. But I'm not sure what they have to do with anything. Poorly paced. Clunky dialogue. Can't tell if it's preachy or not, but I feel like it is. Maybe?

Yeah, totally weird movie.

Soderbergh had a killer run from like 96 to 2002.

Traffic is a fantastic movie. I haven't seen Out of Sight, but I know people like to lose their shit over it.

I just checked his IMDB director page.

LOVED: Schitzopolis, Out of Sight, Traffic, Ocean's Eleven, Full Frontal and Solaris.

LIKED: The Limey, Erin Brokovich and The Informant!

DISLIKED: Ocean's Twelve and Side Effects

Haven't seen the rest.

Out of sight is great...The Limey too. Traffic is ok, too obvious. The ocean´s eleven movies were awful....
Erin Brokovich just ok....Sex, Lies and videotapes is a nice one.

Dead Man Down.

Terrance Howard always sounds like he's going to cry.
