I wasn't as instantly enamored with all of what are now my favorite PJ records but I definitely loved "Riot Act" right away. I remember being so disappointed with the overall reaction to it, the reviews and whatnot--I really felt like they were working at a creative level that people just refused to see because of who they were. Such a great album...

There's nothing right with Bon Jovi either, unless you really need someone to fill in five minutes of dead air in "old people parade" style on your idiotic morning show.

Bon Jovi was fine music for a six to eleven year old suburban twit like me. And this world is a much better place because of Livin' on a Prayer. If nothing else, that song justifies Bon fucking Jovi.

Oh, I liked him when I was a little boy too. He's perfect music for children. And nobody else, ever. Which is fine.durdencommatyler wrote:Bon Jovi was fine music for a six to eleven year old suburban twit like me. And this world is a much better place because of Livin' on a Prayer. A few months later the only songs I find myself wanting to hear are Swallowed Whole, Sleeping by Myself, and Pendulum.
