He looks like a knock off game character, like Streets of Kombat.

Yeah, I just watched it and thought it was fantastic. The story isn't spectacular, and the resolution was pretty predictable, but it's worth watching for the cast and art direction. The soundtrack was also wonderful. A very fun movie.durdencommatyler wrote:American Hustle was a blast!

I Give it a Year
British comedy with Rose Byrne, Simon Baker, Anna Faris, Minnie Driver, Jason Flemyng. Available on Netflix streaming. Movie was good overall, a bit slow in spots.
The reason I would strongly recommend this is Stephen Merchant. He absolutely kills in every scene he's in. I laughed really hard several times, and not just in scenes he's in.

Every time I watch Manhattan, I spend the next week thinking about how good it is and how I should watch it more often. Then years go by before I watch it again.
Just thought I'd share that.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Spring Breakers.
It was okay at best. Had the feel of a random indie film you'd see on IFC or Sundance any given night. I don't know if it was supposed to be comedy/satire but it took itself way too seriously, especially early on. The slow mo montage set to Brittany Spears was ridiculous. Plenty of bare boobs throughout. The kind of movie you keep watching the timer display to see how much you have left even though it's under 90 minutes without the credits. I admit I wanted to see how it ended but when it was over I was like "that's it?"

I want to see that.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Grudge Match. Fun little movie.
I saw Amour and Eternal Sunshine... yesterday. Amour is pretty brutal and I'm glad I watched it, but I can't imagine sitting through that one again.
