Recorded New Orleans, 2009. Corrine and Tootie Ma was a Big Fine Thing, I think as a limited edition 78.

I haven't heard every album ever recorded. But of the ones that I have heard, I'm comfortable saying that Bone Machine is the best. Bone Machine is officially my all time favorite album.

It's pretty entrenched at #4 for me.

What do you have above it? Maybe there's something new in there I haven't been listening to that I should.

Doubtful, you've heard em...though you should listen to em more often. Exile, Aeroplane, Doolittle.

Mule Variations, and Rain Dogs would tangle for spots in the top 15. And Dixie Chicken by Little Feat is way up there too...listen to that as well, DcT.

I actually haven't ever heard Doolittle in its entirety. That hurts to write.

It hurts to read, too.

ah yes. Spent quite a bit of time trying to rip just this audio from the full release but finally decided to check youtube instead :\

Paul Westerberg released something called 3oclockreep. 20 minutes of bullshit and songs cutting in and out and people talking in the studio. But 1/2 way through the gems begin. Jamming with Tom Waits. Im guessing mid-late 80's. Sounds like a few talented folks just taking it easy in the studio.
