What's even crazier to me is that the state of Alabama has a shot at a fifth straight title.Joesanity wrote:The other sad thing about this loss is God's conference getting another shot at a title.

how about you give any top SEC school ohio state's schedule and find one loss for me, cupcakeJoesanity wrote:Give Ohio State Missouri's schedule and find four losses for me.--- wrote:hahahahahaJoesanity wrote:Bullshit. Was this the first real opponent he's faced?
EDIT: first top-ten team he's played in two years

don't think FSU is as dumb as mizzou, and will pass the ball on every down against auburn. not sure what the over/under will be on the game, but i'll take the over.

Won't deny the softness of the schedule this year (though I think Wisconsin would give the top SEC teams a game) but to say Ohio St would be middle of the road is foolish. This team is incredibly talented with some poor coaching on defense especially in the secondary.--- wrote:how about you give any top SEC school ohio state's schedule and find one loss for me, cupcakeJoesanity wrote:Give Ohio State Missouri's schedule and find four losses for me.--- wrote:hahahahahaJoesanity wrote:Bullshit. how about we split the difference and call ohio state a two-loss SEC squad? either way, i hope you'd agree they never belonged in the national title conversation.Joesanity wrote:Won't deny the softness of the schedule this year (though I think Wisconsin would give the top SEC teams a game) but to say Ohio St would be middle of the road is foolish. Re: College Football
What an entertaining day of football. I'd love to see Ohio State and Alabama in a Bowl but it probably won't happen.
I think the B1G had a lot more to do with MSU's excellent play than OSUs failings. Same in the SEC no one crapped the bed even Duke fought hard.
Rose Bowl is a great matchup, so should be the national championship and then a bunch of crap as usual, but no heads should be hung. This was as good a 2 weekends of football as I have in memory.
Dennard is ridiculous.

I bet it's OSU-Clemson in the Orange Bowl. Ugh. I'd rather have a South Carolina or Missouri in the Capital One Bowl.

The national championship is going to great. Two teams who are playing excellent football right now.

I remember making a post on the old board about Malzahn coming back being great for Auburn and not exactly being agreed with. I'll take this win as my satisfaction.

Didn't Auburn get 42 hung on them though? How is that great football?Monkey_Driven wrote:The national championship is going to great. Two teams who are playing excellent football right now.

Mizzou averages about 38 points a game so there's that. Auburn's offense is fun to watch. The championship should be a shootout. I like this type of games.

This tweet gets used a lot (and yet I find it funny every time), but if you watched the New Mexico Bowl it was especially appropriate. The Wazzu meltdown was even worse than the Cowboys meltdown last week.

That Wisconsin kickoff return was pretty sweet. Love the stiff arm.

Happy to see Michigan State win. Pac 12 fans are a pretty excruciating lot to live with, with all their "The Pac 12 doesn't get any respect!" nonsense.

Michigan State is possibly the most satisfying to watch defensive team this year. They got better on offense as the year went on.
