Got to give the Chick-Fil-A Bowl guys credit, they have a way of coming up with great pairings year in year out. I thought the Duke/Texas AM matchup would have been a Aggie blowout. I obviously underestimated the Blue Devils.
Enough with the high scoring games though. I'd rather watch a 24-20 type game over 52-48 any day.
And while I'm on the soapbox remember when the Sugar Bowl wasn't a consolation prize? I'll be interested to see how the higher prestige bowl games adapt to the playoffs. I know they will be part of the format but the current BCS system has not done them any favors.

Conference tie ins ruined the big bowls. No one wants to go to the same place every year.
