Saw the 2nd Hobbit movie yesterday. It was good fun. Also wathed Pacific Rim last night. It was dumb, but fun - and there were a couple of things I didn't get

I can't tell if Ruddo's continued attacks on film festivals/indie films/foreign films is genuine or an exaggerated reaction to being ruthlessly mocked for loving Battleship and Act of Valor.

To be fair, Malloy is the kind of character that would go to a special screening of Begotten. I mean, to each their own, but still, fucking why?
