Not just because of the hair and his size, but Lacy looks a lot like Marshawn Lynch running the ball

They just mentioned Rodgers actually comparing the 2 of them. He played with Lynch at Cal.

Although, admittedly, it's also kind of a shit hole.

I missed them saying that and forgot they played together

It was news to me. I would tend to agree with the comparison.

Funny how GB pulled a Conte and had the final kick go right through the defenders arms and not touch it.

Had a lot of time to think about today's game (unfortunately) on the drive to and from Orlando for work tonight. I was trying to put this playoff loss into perspective, and started trying to compare it to the other ones from my time as a fan. Anyways, here's where I'd put today's loss for me personally. Curious as to how you other Packers fans would place this one (the years correspond the year the game was played in, not the season it came after)...
Spoiler: show
14. Dallas, Divisional Round (1994) - Honestly, it was just thrilling that the Packers were in the playoffs, and won a game no less. There was no way they were gonna beat Dallas.

13. Dallas, Conference Championship Game (1996) - This one stung a lot at first cause they were in the game until late in the 4th quarter, but once the initial sting faded, the excitement about what this team was on the brink of doing overcame everything.

12. Dallas, Divisional Round (1995) - Again, there was really no way they were going to beat Dallas.

11. St. Louis, Divisional Round, (2002) - I didn't think they could possibly keep up with the Greatest Show on Turf. They couldn't. I guess that made this shitbomb of a performance easier to deal with.

10. San Francisco, Wild Card Round (2014) - Considering what it felt like a few weeks ago at halftime against Dallas, it's hard to rank this one higher. At so many points this season felt like it was about to just be one to write off as "What else can go wrong?" They showed grit in snatching the division away from the Suburban Gary Adult Cubs, and their very battered defense played above their head for most of the game against the Niners.

9. San Francisco, Divisional Round (2013) - It felt like this team was finally healthy and just might be able to take out this Niners team. When Kaepernick opened the game with a pick-six, it really seemed like things were going to fall into place. But then Kaepernick went all Superman and left no doubt that the Niners were a better team.

8. Arizona, Wild Card Round (2010) - Had they just laid down and died when they fell behind, this one would probably not be ranked as high. Making the playoffs felt like a good breakthrough in itself. After that furious rally to get into overtime though, it was super painful for the game to end the way it did (especially with the uncalled face mask on Rodgers). Still, eventually anticipation about the future made this sting much less.

7. Minnesota, Wild Card Round (2005) - Ugh. This was just fucking ugly. This was the year where everyone besides Philadelphia in the NFC was a joke though. But losing to another NFC North team fucking sucked. I think how surreal-ly ugly it was made it hurt a tiny bit less. But only a tiny bit. But it seemed like this team was about to go in the wrong direction, and it was.

6. San Francisco, Wild Card Round (1999) - Jerry Rice fumbled and everyone in the universe knows it. Fucking ridiculous.

5. Atlanta, Wild Card Round (2003) - Fucking Michael Vick. He was even more of a video game character in this game than Kaepernick was in the divisional round last year.

4. Philadelphia, Divisional Round (2004) - After the Monday Night Game against Oakland and then the way the Vikings lost to let them in on the last day of the season, it felt like something magical might be happening. Had Philadelphia just come out & smacked them in the mouths it would've been one thing. But 4th & 26? I mean, are you fucking kidding me?

3. New York, Divisional Round (2012) - This team wasn't even recognizable. The touchdown New York scored right before the half after McCarthy's inexplicable time out almost made me vomit. I think I've blocked out everything else from this game. I don't think I spoke to anyone for a week after this game.

2. New York, Conference Championship Game (2008) - This whole season felt like a magic carpet ride. Favre seemed destined to play in one more Super Bowl, especially after turning a 14-0 deficit into an absolute woodshedding against the Seahawks in the snow the previous week. God was this one fucking terrible to deal with. All I wanted after this was for the Patriots to beat New York 77-0 in the Super Bowl. Thanks for nothing, Tom Terrific.

1. Denver, Super Bowl XXXII (1998) - Fuck this game more than any other game that has ever been played anywhere at any point in time in any sport. No sporting event will ever hurt this much.

We obviously needed a TD when we were down 20-17. And for some fucked up reason we decided to get cute and run the ball with Cobb on 1st & Goal, even after Lacy's thunderous performance. Fricken Mccarthy.

I'm not saying it doesn't hurt like fuck, and I feel as shitty about it today as I would have expected, but we've had some pretty shitty losses to deal over the past twenty years.

Also, watching clips of Micah Hyde dropping that interception is way more painful than watching the kick go through in between his arms. That's the one that's gonna play in my head when I think "What if?" till next September.
