I want an Eddie solo album. With electric guitars and an accordion and some organ and some jack irons and some spoken word and a fucking theremin or some shit.

I want ed to weird it up basically. It's more likely with a solo album than a PJ one I'd imagine.

Eddie doesn't do weird. If you want weird, see Stone Gossard. He's your man.

Eddie used to have some weird in him, or some potential for weird. Maybe no code and vitalogy were it though and he's all tapped out. I say weird, but he's used all that shit before...minus the theremin.

Stone might be too weird for me

his voice anyhow. I haven't really given moonlander a proper listen.

Moonlander is awesome, but it's not really weird. Maybe eccentric. It's very good, though. I think Stone sings better than Ed these days.

Jeff isn't weird either, but I think his taste is most representative of what Pearl Jam used to be.

The 11th album will not be in 3-4 years...

Pearl Jam will work on an album on the road in 2014....

Lightning Bolt is a great album... but certain arrangments could've been (and should've been) HUGE...
Some songs needed more work...

I need a PJ album were the guys are together and jam 'till the song is sharp...

And i have a special request... I need a darker album... a more atmospherical/dark one... a "vitalogy" sound.... Lightning Bolt would have been a masterpiece if some songs would have stayed darker all the way to the end...

But LB is still a 8/10 to me

the next album will be a slightly shittier version of lightning bolt. get ready to wait another 4 years again - there won't be another PJ album until there is another side project album from every other band member first in the meantime, sucking out the creative juices that would otherwise be manifest in the next PJ album, if they actually gave a shit about making music together for creative purposes anymore, as opposed to out of moral obligation....Ed's lyrics will suck even more too. this next round will feature one song who's lyrics consist solely of ed shouting out the names of objects he is viewing in the recording studio at that exact moment: "microphone! vooooluuuume sliiidy knoooob thiiiiings! stone's foot! myyyyy finger paaaaintiiiing set! Matt's kid! Breeendan O'Brieeen's chauffeuuuuuur!!!"

Love the chaffeuuuuurrr line. Put those lyrics to Push Me, Pull Me style backing music and I could see it being at least as compelling as most of Backspacer.

They won't even have to record anything, every note played by each member since the band started has been stored individually and he'll just piece the whole thing together

I honestly don't see one single reason for them not to do it this way.
