A little bit about Alex. It was a good doc, and it was nice to know about the band itself.

American Hustle - Pretty solid all round, although I wanted to hear how the ice fishing story panned out

Her...
I absolutely adored this movie. Very relatable to me at this point in my life. Very original, and well acted. Plus...Amy Adams.

The Punk Singer.

I just adore Kathleen Hanna. She might be a little self centered but i dont care. I love everything she does.

I'm pretty sure I'm seeing Inside L. Davis, Nebraska, & Her all this weekend. And maybe Lone Survivor.

And there is football. So fuck...you know?

Skipping one struggling New York artist movie (Inside L. Davis) and ordering a different struggling New York artist movie (Francis Ha) after talking extensively about a struggling New York artist tv show (Girls).

Here I go!

Frances Ha

A part of me hates to admit that I have more in common with Frances than probably any other character in the movies. At least at this point in my 20 something life. I wish she could articulate better what she wanted, but I guess she does it through dance. I don't know. That part of her seemed at odds with me.

Other than that, I liked it a lot!

Anyone who has to pretend they are that nice all the time is hiding from something sinister. That's a fact. I'm speaking about the hipster morons depicted in Her.
