Good work. I somehow got my wife to agree to the Vedder solo show. Plus she went to a PJ gig once. She said she enjoyed it but wouldn't go again.

I'm going to Eminem the following month to make up for it.

This is getting pretty close, hey?

After taking my wife to one of the Vedder shows in 2011, she's (quite surprisingly) keen to see the band this time.

We were debating making the the trip across the ditch to go to one of the Vedder solo shows, but it's getting too close to the wedding - and with all the expenses that go with that we decided to flag it

This is close, eh? This Friday.

Can someone do the time zone conversion for me to EST? When do these Big Day Out shows really start here in the eastern US?

My wife came to both the Riot Act and Avocado tours. She really only knows all of Ten, and the singles and a handful of other songs from a few albums after that. She's never interested in their newer albums.

It was OK on the RA tour where she knew a good portion of the set list, but when more newer songs (that she didn't know) were taking up more of the set list on the Avocado tour - she started to get a bit bored. Plus, she fell asleep at the Avacado tour because she was heavily pregnant with my oldest son.

Honestly, I didn't really care for her being there on the Avocado tour, I just wanted my son to experience his first (and possibly only) PJ concert. :bammer:

Enjoy it dude. Maybe keep an eye on any strange looking line ups around Auckland tonight too. You never know, some band may do a warm up show.

I'll try and keep an eye out - although I think it might be a bit hopeful them doing a warm-up gig.
You going to any of the Aus shows?
