From Pearl Jam?
A bit more touring.
Absolutely no new material (i.e. the BSides and EP that we want, but will never see until the whole band have died of old age).
A bunch of already released live material.
New shitty merchandise (PJ branded potato peelers and mops, hurrah).

From the side projects/individual band members?
Great new original material.
Some touring.
Good times.

Annoyingly insincere and vague band members' quotes on Facebook.

I'll never forget reading Matt Cameron's reply to the question "What makes a great drummer?": "Having a passion for music."

I'm going to sit down behind some drums tomorrow then because it appears I may have some untapped talent.

Once they get back in the studio they will talk about the new album like the best thing since sliced bread, and the best since the early 90s.

"It has been a difficult record to make and it’s like sometimes the harder something is, then the more valuable it becomes. It’s easily the best stuff we’ve done but also some of the hardest stuff."

"We did the right work for them, they’re fresh and they’re up-tempo but they’re not over-thought.”

"It's a lot more rockin' than our last one."

"It's our most aggressive work since Vs."

Another US leg. Maybe EV album late in the year. A Christmas single with studio B-sides.

They will enlist the design services of Hugo Boss to design a line of Rising the Tides to Eternity onesies, years in advance of the album.

The Oz and Euro tour, and absolutely nothing else.

The 10c will keep things afloat for themselves with new merch or giveaways, but that's all.
