Yeah I skip Sirens > LB almost every timegardenparty wrote:Had a listen to this a couple days ago for the first time in a month or so. I still really dislike the song Lightning Bolt. As well, Sirens into LB really kills the flow for me.
Infallible track 4 would have flowed better. Sirens 5 and then drop LB all together

Have we ever played "What they should have named the album"? I like the track, but I hate when albums are named after tracks (in most cases).

A Return to Form?
This is the best we could do, considering the pissweak amount time we devoted to it.

And the cover could've been a girl in a bikini seductively scooping some jam out of a jar with the stickman on it and spreading it on some toast. While sitting spread eagle.

Yeah, but when they go back they set in motion a chain of events that lead to Mother Love Bone's ashes being vacuumed up before Pearl Jam ever has a chance to rise from them, and then the universe collapses in on itself.Sgt. Scientists are still divided over what did exactly happen before Pearl Jam.Lament wrote:Yeah, but when they go back they set in motion a chain of events that lead to Mother Love Bone's ashes being vacuumed up before Pearl Jam ever has a chance to rise from them, and then the universe collapses in on itself.Sgt. There's agreement that they rose from the ashes of Mother Love Bone, but the debate over just where the ashes of Mother Love Bone came from and how they got there is just out of control. I recently read a paper from an Oxford professor who theorizes that it's a Terminator-esque circular paradox where the ashes of Mother Love Bone were in fact put there by Pearl Jam via Ed traveling back to the 80's by surfing through a tear in the space-time continuum.harmless wrote:Scientists are still divided over what did exactly happen before Pearl Jam.

Re: Lightning Bolt: The Official Album Thread
I'm pretty sure they took B'OB back in time. Then they got sick of his bullshit and set fire to him. Past Pearl Jam then rose from his ashes.Lament wrote:There's agreement that they rose from the ashes of Mother Love Bone, but the debate over just where the ashes of Mother Love Bone came from and how they got there is just out of control.
