Bah! I fucked this up yesterday, on account of it being my birthday and spending almost the entire day travelling. Ugh!

10 miles in 69 minutes

Cruised. Beautiful evening. 35 out. 34 back with a quarter-mile finishing kick. Legs feel solid. Now if I can drop 10 pounds and get rid of this death cough, I'll be ready to do some damage at a race or at the Grand Canyon.

He's half dog. He's probably chasing a ball, a stick or something.

I took the class last night. A good, quick burst of exercise before meeting a friend for a burger. Back tonight for a more intensive workout.
Gym was packed out; typical January crowd.

Not really. I've always liked you, strat.

Running 5 miles when I'm sick or tired isn't really gonna kill me. I've run at least 1,500 miles a year (probably closer to 2,000 most years) for the last 6 or 7 years and have had no real injuries and very few illnesses. Running myself well is pretty much standard operating procedure. My doctor says I can run with Valley Fever (my death cough, as I call it), so I'll run with it. And the cough seems to be subsiding.

Actually that is the farthest thing from my mind; tend to look forward to new brews more though, with intake a bit lower.
