I would guess Pearl Jam said, "eh, fuck it ... we're not going to be in the studio then anyhow." THEN, Soundgarden went forward with their tour plans. If anyone in either band is to be believed about SG not getting in the way of PJ, that would have to be true.

I actually really like Ole and think Supersonic is... well... it's bad, it's just boring and obvious. Ole is a lot of fun and doesn't instantly remind me of another (equally mediocre) Pearl Jam song.

This argument has been done beyond the death and the afterlife. Supersonic shares a few similar bars to mankind. It's a far better song than mankind. And olé actually, which is pj trying to be clever and with it whilst kissing ass of whoever they stole it off, therefore it's shite altogether. This is the Internet. Not their moms house. If its shit, call it for what it is.
