Re: The running/exercise streak thread
I broke the streak the other day having to take Mrs Rangi to the hospital. Will try and get back on this after BDO

Treadmill. Took it easy and was in and out and showered in less than an hour.

Re: The running/exercise streak thread
No, I know Friday will be a rest day after four days in a row. Last night was mostly legs & cardio; I left a sweaty, wobbly mess. Going back tonight to concentrate on upper body but I'll probably do a mile/mile and a half on the treadmill too.turned2black wrote:Should I add you to the streak crew?

Re: The running/exercise streak thread
Catch up post:
Wednesday: 15k on the bike and a core workout.
Yesterday: Core and weight workout. (Plus instead of the planned run, I went to the local outdoor pool and did some laps to cool off in the shitty heat. This halted when the smoke drift came in from the bushfires in the east.)
Streak - 3
I'd like to get in a twilight run tonight when the cool change comes through, but the in-laws are coming over. I'm hoping to get them out the door early enough so this is possible. If not, I'll use the treadmill.

5 miles in 34 minutes
I wanted to run 10 miles tonight, but I felt a little rundown after having to mingle with assholes at a work function. Even split. May do the brutal run up to the TV towers on South Mountain this Sunday. I feel like I need to start cranking out some elevation gain.

Got my fourth day in a row last night. I got to say, I was feeling it too with the weights.
Rest today & back at it in the morning.

Had a great 5k run at sunset. The cool change came through and brought some rain with it. I came back home looking like a drowned rat, but feeling so fucking refreshed. Awesome.

Rainy runs are great. Blood-soaked runs aren't bad either.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Had a great 5k run at sunset. The cool change came through and brought some rain with it. I came back home looking like a drowned rat, but feeling so fucking refreshed. Awesome.

i think you're one of three things: a master of self-parody, quoting a TV show, or a serial killerturned2black wrote:I'm not the man you think I am.Alex wrote:whose love? the guy you killed?turned2black wrote:Does it really matter? yeah, but, for my own edification, can you give me a percentage breakdown of how these traits comprise your essence?turned2black wrote:Can't I be an amalgamation of all these things?Alex wrote:i think you're one of three things: a master of self-parody, quoting a TV show, or a serial killerturned2black wrote:I'm not the man you think I am.Alex wrote:whose love? the guy you killed?turned2black wrote:Does it really matter?
