Yes, I have some post-2006 live Pearl Jam albums and on them are definitely some Avacado tunes. But I never noted titles, nor really paid attention to the songs. Same thing when I listen to Pearl Jam on Sirius. Maybe an Avacado tune comes on, but I don't recognize title or the song. So, yeah, I've heard an Avacado tune or two, but not really HEARD them.

Come on guys, please respect this thread and keep the idiocy confined to other rediculous threads in GD.

Take this as a warning.

This guy is the modern day James dean of music fans. A fuckin rebel without a cause.

He's just a cool cat is all I'm saying. This bloke has never been to a pj concert either, he's just gonna buy the bootleg in 10 yrs

Maybe he'll learn how to spell avocado by then too

Rip dirty frank, miss you brother, long live team no code!

This album contains "Parachutes" which is arguably the last truly great creative moment in this band's catalog. And God help me, I love "Marker in the Sand" like crazy.

Just listen to the thing. It's not special enough to "save" but you'll almost certainly find a few things you like.

It's got unemployable and parachutes is pretty good in the right context and I think comatose is amazing live and Wws is a good tune. I don't know, I give lightning bolt the edge even though it ends weak. My fathers son is the best song since grievance

I like "Army Reserve" too. I like a lot of songs on this album, really, but I do think almost all of them are better live.

In a lot of ways I dislike what this record stands for--essentially a conscious move away from the natural creative arc of the previous 4-5 records, away from the introverted textures and askew song structures, in favor of a deliberately straightforward rock approach that was all but announced as a ploy to win back all the old fans who couldn't cope with the band's modest experimental urges--more than I dislike the record itself.
