the life and times of two characters in pearl jam songs
deep, just a girl, why go , daughter, dissadent, not for you, tremor christ, nothingman, given to fly, breakerfall ,you are, force of nature, sad, evacuation.
I could see a movie script in these songs together each song to the next in order tells a story of pain, horror, survival, redemtion, enlightment, love and finally back to pain. A love story of sorts

Re: the life and times of two characters in pearl jam songs
I wanted to stay away from songs in the first person as much as I could "You are" fit so well so I used it.
So in deep we meet the cast. We will call them him and her.
just a girl, why go , daughter are all about the her. Then in dissadent he appears again.
tremor christ is him. Nothingman is more of him than her Given to fly is him in a little different way then tremor christ. See he is the one that is okay in a sense he is the stong one. She is still coming undone during breakerfall. You are is him singing to her. If she feels his words we might have a happy ending , but she doesn't so we now get force of nature and sad. Then he is alone and we get evacuation.

I never actually wondered what Tremor Christ was about before this thread.

Can't believe people why so much on this board anymore using to troll backwards sometimes.
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

That Hamlet thing was going so well until they started singing Even Flow.

Re: the life and times of two characters in pearl jam songs
Also, I wrote a screenplay about 12 years ago based on PJ songs.
Alive, Once, Footsteps, Why Go, Black, Alone, Hard to Imagine, Dissident, RVM, Nothingman, Present Tense were all inspiration for specific scenes.
It was terrible.

Re: the life and times of two characters in pearl jam songs
Here's my idea for a musical based on Pearl Jam songs. It's a work in progress.
A character has to take a shit real bad. "Time for... evacuation!"
The character looks down and is horrified by what he finds in his stool. "It's... my... blood!!!"
That's all I have so far.
