I had to explain to some friends this tour why it wasn't a huge deal to see 3 shows.

I met a guy at a PJ show, whos wife (who was with him) had seen Bon Jovi 20 some odd times? and thats not uncommon amongst Bon Jovi fans? So... when ever someone gives me the look "youre seeing PJ again? and 2 days in a row?" I usually come back with "well at least its not Bon Jovi?"

I get this too, but I hardly ever discuss Pearl Jam or the shows I see with friends. I'll spend far more time talking about the cities or the food there than the show, because frankly they don't care. I have the same reaction to their stories about college football games. "Oh that same bar is still there just like when you were in school 12 years ago? Yeah? Just like last year? That's just great."

I get that a lot too. Most people who know me know I'm a big fan & travel around to see them. But that doesn't stop them from asking if I ever get tired of them or why would I want to see them multiple times a tour. At least they've stopped asking "Pearl Jam's still around?".

Actually it was Just Breathe that first got a few positive comments from friends. And then of course when they played Music Midtown, their first local show in nine years, that got some buzz too.

Live Footsteps cleaned up tags. I am now at 991 songs. I will recross the 1,000 song threshold on Saturday.

I've been to 9 shows, all since 2003
I've gotten 128 different songs (105 PJ originals/album songs + 23 covers)
I've gotten almost every song from Vs (11/12) (still missing Dissident)
Vs is followed by S/T (11/13) and Ten (9/11) for highest % of album heard
Binaural is on the lowest end of the spectrum, unfortunately (6/13), followed by Riot Act (8/15)
Alive is the only song that I got at all 9 shows, followed by DTE and Even Flow (7/9)

My wishlist for the next tour looks something like this: Dissident, Oceans, Release, Tremor Christ, Sometimes, Off He Goes, Red Mosquito, Mankind, No Way, Push Me Pull Me, Breakerfall, Evacuation, Light Years, Of the Girl, Rival, Parting Ways, Can't Keep, Cropduster, You Are, All or None

Number of plays 674
Unique songs played 181
Pearl Jam songs 142
Covers 39
Unique opening songs 12
Unique closing songs 10

Number of shows 24
Average set length 28.1 songs
First show 05 Nov 2000, Key Arena, Seattle
Last show 14 Oct 2014, FedEx Forum, Memphis

Not too bad. Only song I'm still holding out for is Black, Red, Yellow.
I hate to say I love you,
But oh goddamn I love you,
You know I do.

Live, I thought this song was phenomenal ... no wonder the studio version didn't live up to what I heard live. ....it wasn't fuck :censored: ing it!

.....but what song was it? :-|
do you remember which part of the show it was? first set or one of the encores? if i was to guess from the setlists it could maybe be MFC just because of the speed of the song, but im not really sure
I'd wager just about anything it was Unthought Known. It has "Swallowed Whole" as a prominent lyric.

The others played both nights are either from the new album or are long time hits.
