Of course I am extreme. I take my music seriously. I am very passionate about my music. That's why I won't attend a show at Giants Stadium and be surrounded by "fans" who think Eddie is still wearing the brown jacket from the "Jeremy" video.

I know true Pearl Jam fans get it. It is actually one of the things that make the band what they are -- their real fans are real extreme and passionate about music. And many of us play music. Before "Backspacer" came out I saw a photo of the band in the studio recording the album. I spied in the corner of the studio a 12 string Rickenbacker. WHOA! A 12 string Ric is going to be on the new Pearl Jam album! Something as simple as that excites an extremely passionate music/Pearl Jam fan.

I have a feeling Katy Perry fans do not give a crap about what instruments are in the studio. Instead, they are into what color Katy's hair will be in the new video. And believe it or not, when you go see Pearl Jam at 80,000 seat Giants Stadium, chances are pretty good you'll be sitting amongst some Katy Perry fans. I won't go.

The more I think about it, the idea that Wishlist left a Wings show in 1976 and his first thought was "Man, I wish I caught him at the Cavern Club in '61!" is one of best things I've read on the internet in a long time.

You've got to learn to draw the line, kid.

You can't always accept crap that the man gives you. Pay your hundred doallars to attend an arena show, hand your ticket to the man, head to the escalator single file with all the others like robots.... Draw a line, kid, and say, "No." Maybe one day you'll grow up and realize that. Draw a line. Stand for something. If you can't even make a sensible choice about attending concerts, then God help you. I pity you.

You're so adorable. I just want to pat you on the head, give you a Werther's Original, and tell you everything's gonna be alright.

The irony is, to disparage fans of new concerts / new PJ, he keeps referencing early songs: "Even Flow" and "Jeremy" by my count, probably more.

So he doesn't want to hear songs from Lightning Bolt, and he doesn't want to hear songs from Ten. His username references a song from Yield, but by the time Yield came out this band wasn't worth seeing live?

Do you think Wishlist's 500 favorite albums of all-time are identical the list Rolling Stone put out a decade ago, or is there only like a 90% crossover between the two?

I just admire the fact that he's still here despite everyone ganging up on him for two days. RM needs more posters willing to stick it out.

Boy, I'm new to this forum and already I can see there aren't many deep thinkers here.
You honestly don't see what I mean by some fan yelling out for "Even Flow"?
Wow.

Just curious, how do you ever make it through a Pearl Jam album? Maybe Katy Perry's lyrics are more your speed. "I will be your teenage dream in my skin tight jeans." There that's something your brain can follow. Eddie's lyrics must be like Shakespeare to you. "Huh? What does "I wish I were the pedal brake that you depended on" mean?"

Hey, why don't you spend the remainder of the month trying to figure out what I mean by saying "fans" yelling out for "Even Flow". Personally, I think it's going to take you longer than a month.

Wishlist, tell us about the time The Huffington Post named you one of the top five British Poets to watch in 2013, and how you were nominated for poet laureate of your town.
