i can't get into these purposefully corny movies. Its only great if its an accident.bart wrote:That's exactly what they were going for, though.theplatypus wrote:The only way to enjoy this stupid, stupid film is with an audience that can't stop laughing.Bob Loblaw wrote:Sharknado.

Yeah, I guess that could make it fun to watch. The thing is that on top of being almost unbelievably stupid, it's soooo badly made.theplatypus wrote:The only way to enjoy this stupid, stupid film is with an audience that can't stop laughing.Bob Loblaw wrote:Sharknado.

They're making a sequel. Sharknado II: The Second One.
Anyway, this weekend I saw:
Funny Games - Liked it for what it is. Very good performances all around.
The Experiment - It's ok, but a bit over the top.
Lucia y el Sexo - Just a big pile of meh.

got a bit slow in the middle for a little bit, but it was mostly enjoyable for what it was

Re: What movies are you watching?
Binge watched a bunch of movies this weekend:
Man of Steel - C- Meh. Couldn't get into it at all.
This is the End - B- The action/special effects were better than the comedy.
Hangover III - B- Not too bad, miles better than II.
Insidious 2 - C- Not a bad sequel, I just hate how they use the loud music to punctuate scares.
Country Cottage - D Thought this would be a good black comedy/horror movie, i was wrong.
The Heat - B Not as funny as everyone said it was, but still good.
You're Next - B Now this was a good example of black comedy/horror movie.
The World's End - B- This one started off great, but ran out of gas when it went action over comedy.
Prisoners - A- Excellent suspense movie with great performances from Jackman, Gyllenhall, Leo, Dano.

Watched Cape Fear for the first time. Being a lifelong Simpsons fan, I struggled to take it seriously.
