Yeah, it was mostly about how they want to very slowly grind to a halt / retirement.
I hate reading PJ interviews, they either tell me something which depresses me or they tell me something exciting that they never follow up.

I agree, they have always done a lot of interviews, to the general rock fan (lazy opinion machines) they don't.Mine wrote:they never stoppedbodysnatcher wrote:wait, when did PJ start doing interviews again????
How jaded are you? I think its great that Stone is talking about Pearl Jam when they are in their 70's. It was a great interview about how Stone was encouraged to play guitar, why is everyone so jaded and miserable in this forum?harmless wrote:Yeah, it was mostly about how they want to very slowly grind to a halt / retirement.

I realize I should just leave it at that, but I feel in my heart of hearts that I would be doing durdencommatyler a great disservice if I didn't also say that

Re: New Stone Interview
That was great. Thank you. They really need Stone though, he's one of a kind. Although I do like Satchel's The Family. If they had made it with Stone, and swapped some of the lesser songs for Stone songs, it would have been right up there with the best.joostone wrote:Here's an excellent interview with Shawn Smith:

Re: New Stone Interview
Great? No. Kind of arbitrary and fun, if you're into that? Yeah. But to answer your question, on a scale of 1 to Jaded (10) I'm probably about a 5 at this point regarding PJ.LuNY wrote:I agree, they have always done a lot of interviews, to the general rock fan (lazy opinion machines) they don't.Mine wrote:they never stoppedbodysnatcher wrote:wait, when did PJ start doing interviews again????
