Re: The Work-Out Thread
Wanted to run at least a couple of miles tonight, but might have started at too fast a pace, i got a mile in 9:18 and my lungs were burning bad when i stopped. i also felt like i tweaked my back a bit. It wasn't a bad run, real good time for me but i need to get my cardio going much better

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Legs today. I'm now pretty comfortable squatting a couple of sets in the 80-90kg range which is strong progress. Nearly fell victim to a faulty leg press machine though, so bit of a mixed bag of a session!
Chest and tri tomorrow, followed by some interval training to begin the cut phase in earnest.

Then when i got home i tried a couple of planks.... Man those are tough

Don't let the "for beginners" title line fool ya, when you buy a Rodney Yee DVD.

Did a lot tonight, worked chest, back, shoulders and arms and learned a lot tonight also. its pretty hard to keep your form with free weights but i would get the hang of it on everything by the time i was done.

what's with this idea that some people take 5-7 lbs off for clothes when they weigh themselves? i'm talking in general, but it really caught my attention when my buddy weighed himself at the gym whilst wearing shorts, tshirt, and running shoes. maybe his undies and socks pack a punch?

Re: The Work-Out Thread
i can maybe see taking that much off if he was wearing shoes and jeans or somehitng, if i weigh with shirt, shorts and boxers on then take them off and weigh again its usually like a poundred calzolaio wrote:what's with this idea that some people take 5-7 lbs off for clothes when they weigh themselves? i'm talking in general, but it really caught my attention when my buddy weighed himself at the gym whilst wearing shorts, tshirt, and running shoes. maybe his undies and socks pack a punch?
