He kinda looks like he should be lounging on Ellen Page's couch, playing X-Box One and being all quirky and shit.theplatypus wrote:He looks like the bad-boy member of a K-Pop band from the future.Stickman wrote:

Not at the very end, he rescue's January Jones's character, she is gone too, so is banshee, Singer just really took all the characters out of first class and brought back his own. It's ashame Vaughn didn't stick around. First class was awesome.

X2 was the best X-Men movie. First Class was terrible.

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)
I haven't watched that one since it came out, but I remember being frustrated because a number of the central characters in that trilogy (Cyclops, Jean Grey, any number of others) were not all that interesting to me. They were really just pawns, to be honest, in a game being played by Magneto and Prof X...so it was sort of like making a movie that focuses most of its screen time on the Joker's henchmen and Batman's various lackeys. First Class benefited from not having two so obviously central plot guiding characters, since both main dudes were still in formative stages, and from being less concerned with hurrying to the next fight scene.theplatypus wrote:X2 was the best X-Men movie. Also, the X-Men trilogy way overplayed Wolverine, which gutted anything and everything about what made him an engaging character.

while people can (and rightfully so imo) bitch about singer w/superman, with the xmen i fully trust him. it stands to reason some of the first class characters would have died by the future.
im really looking forward to this installment and what it can usher in

Re: X-men : Movies (and all other Mutant related things)
hmmmm I actually thought Magneto and X dominated First Class MORE than the original Trilogy... If Fassbender's Magneto wasnt so awesome in FirsT Class I might not have even liked it that much?McParadigm wrote:I haven't watched that one since it came out, but I remember being frustrated because a number of the central characters in that trilogy (Cyclops, Jean Grey, any number of others) were not all that interesting to me. I WISH this was the look they gave him in these movies... it would totally fit the 70s look, and, Ian would look great in it
