Amazing guitars on that one, and only song with MM lyrics.

What is your pick? :)
Either Push Me, Pull Me, Aye Davanita, or Happy When I'm Crying

Probably PMPM because it's the most undeniably experimental for a Pearl Jam song.

u dont think sleight of hand sounds experimental for pearl jam?

has anyone said smile? jeff and stone experiment with each others instruments. and there's a harmonica!
sleight of hand seems pretty pearl jam-ish to me...
really, most of the songs are pretty pearl jam-ish to me.

I can't think of a time listening to sleight of hand, evacuation, WMA, present tense, insignificance, smile, whatever else - and thinking: wow- how experimental of them.
I listened to them and thought - pearl jam.

are you guys just talking about songs that aren't anthemic rockers or something? is there some quintessential essence of pearl jam's recording career that I need to be juxtaposing those songs against in order to determine if they're experimental 'for a pearl jam song'? because I'm missing it.
Something that makes you think, 'wow, that's interesting, different for Pearl Jam'.

No, Lightning Bolt was candidate for least experimental. What is your pick in that category?

Least experimental is probably Unthought Known but I fucking hate that song.

bullshit. and you know nothing about what I think of Pearl Jam other than some dumb jokes I've posted here in the last few months.
how tired you are when this is all you can think of to comment to me about when I actually make an effort to reply seriously and all you got for me is - it seems he's never thought that.

dumb, lazy, and inaccurate, but feel free to base my entire fan arc on my recent posts because that's surely enough information to judge me on.

At every stage there has been candidates. WMA was most experimental in 93. After 10 albums and 200 odd songs you'd hope that there are lots of experiments and musical avenues. It seems to me that the band were most open when Jack was their drummer. He brought a different rhythmic headspace that challenged them all as writers.

And there's experimental for PJ but that's not really experimental as far as music is concerned.

Ten - Oceans
VS - WMA
Vitalogy - Mop or Bugs
No Code - I'm Open although Who You Are ceratinly could be the case
Yield - PMPM
Binaural - Lots of candidates from NAIS to SoH.
RA - You Are, HH
ST - nothing here
BS - ditto
LB - Maybe MFS or for PJ SBM

Whoa, sorry, didn't mean to offend you. I was just going off of this;
