The way the band works:

Ten-VS: All the guys bringing in instrumentals (mostly Stone), Ed adds lyrics > Stone's band

Vitalogy-No Code: Ed's writing more....the band is changing....> powerstruggle

Yield > RA: Everyone bringing in complete songs...> democracy (or temporary peace in struggle for power...)

S/T - backspacer: Everyone works on instrumentals...Ed picks a few to add lyrics and writes the rest of the songs... > Ed's band

So it's hard to blame Stone for 'Supersonic' or 'AtW', I wouldn't suprised me if there are some great instrumental songs from those sessions that Ed didn't feel....so he picked the powerchord ramones like punk song..and Stone is probably thinking: 'really Ed...you picked that song?? ive written much better melodies here...oh well'.

Come on Stone!! Fight back! Bring back the powerstruggle.....

Has anyone ever asked the band about Navy Bean? Will it be their "Murder, Inc."?

6) More Stone songs
7) No lasers
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

Stone has already tried to tell us this story - he needs our help:

Conspiracy theorists take heed
It’s time to bleed for every family with a fractured crown
You’ve had experience beyond your years
You’ve had your head up in the clouds
It’s time to let go
Let the tears begin to flow for every family with a fractured crown

There’s an old man in his chair (NEIL YOUNG)
With a leather shaven grin
I don't want war (WITH ED)
I don't need plays ("I CAN DO THIS, THIS IS MY THING")
Like hell bent inn

Vitalogy
Just passed too bizarre
The organ grinder quips (BUGS)
Locked inside a barricade (STUDIO)
How could you (ED) get in?
The admiral (STONE) checks his thieves
To see what they'd done wrong
Wrapped it up in silly paper (VITALOGY ALBUM DESIGN)
Tacked it to the wall

He (ED) found me...
All could see...
He (ED) bore me (WITH HIS SONGS)...

Could be the difference in our age (2 YEARS)
Been charged with reckless driving (PERSON DRIVING INTO ED's HOUSE), oh and pardon our rage (THE BAND'S RAGE AGAINST ED)
Albeit, I know it, these fits are made of change
The skins, the texture of our page
Our nest of shredded paper strewn in our cage (JEFF AND STONE'S SONGS LEFT RIPPED UP AND USED IN SIDE PROJECTS)
Albeit, I know it, these fits are made of change

The admiral (STONE) checks the crowd (FANBASE)
To see if they would mind (DO THEY LIKE THE NEW SONGS? "WE WERE A DIFFERENT BAND - WOULD THEY LIKE THE NEW BAND?")
He knew it wasn't instigated
By his little frog (JEFF)

Yield
I'll stop trying to make a difference

Binaural
Once this man (THIRD PERSON REFERENCE TO HIMSELF) I knew had a lovely song to sing to me (FATAL)
A gentle man (STONE), we'd owe him (FOR BRINGING THE BAND TOGETHER)
From his dusty days though , he'd been split four ways (GREEN RIVER/MLB/BRAD/PEARL JAM)
Cut to the bone, left alone too many
It only takes these memories to make me want...sigh...
You wanted to survive, had a notion to explain our way
Pending grey and coldness
Tried to woo him to me but the spell I cast was far too weak
Made his midnight stand with a pale fist
He took a swing, sight unseen, he suffered (FATAL not put on the album)

How to take it all in stride, win your soul and mind the light
How to live around the storm, wind and pressures to befall
Here's a question you might need to ask
What's self destruction and how can we last?

I can't believe we're still together
Even after all these years
I guess you can call it civil pride
This selfish love that I hide (NEED TO GO ON STAGE), yeah
Unhand me
Unhand me, my ego (LET GO OF THIS SO I CAN LEAVE THE BAND)

There goes my love, there goes her heart
And that's not the last of it, or the worst part
There go my eves, down my downspout
There goes my car, and my house
Cause I’m out of here (I'M GOING TO LEAVE)

I’m not through sleeping (I'M GOING TO KEEP PLAYING IN BRAD AND PJ)
I’m not through sleeping around

Sacrifice the lamb
Without a little torture
Tied it up with string
And hung him from the line
It’s not my first excuse
A shot across my mouth
Sure I’ve done it too
It’s just a point of view
Shame on you (ED)

If the rumors are right about Navy Bean, it should be on the new album. I only imagine:

Pearl Jam - The Tenth Album

1. Of The Earth
2. Navy Bean
and 12 other songs.

More ED songs that are not written in ukelele tunings... and preferably incorporating a harmonica.
One or more songs that are 7+ minutes long with spacey Mike solos and time signature changes
Another last track that is introspective and haunting

Guys, let them ditch Cameron on drums for this record and have Grohl come in. Also, a guest appearance by Homme

YES.
Though I like Cameron, I'd love to see someone else drumming.

Anyone but DangerMouse

if people were afraid of PJ trying to go mainstream, that would be the nail in the coffin
