If there was only 1, I'd go with this performance of State of Love and Trust from Milan '06. There's so much pure energy in this video, I've seen it many times and still get chills. So many awesome things going on the video. It encapsulates the energy of a European PJ show and it's in Italy to boot!
Also I'm getting tired of that stupid logo appearing on every video.

I think this was my favourite show of the five they did in Italy. Great energy, great crowd, lovely pit.
Does anyone know if the girl who used to record these Pearl Jam Bridge Schools for us, is still doing it? I remember looking way back but I never found a DVD video of the last time they played. I loved that years Betterman version and would love to watch the entire set.
Probably not the right thread, but I don't want to start a new one...Does anyone know if PJ and Letterman had some sort of falling out? Watching the Letterman performances, especially of "Hail Hail" and "Grievance" is some damn fine Pearl Jam. I think for a solid decade or so, they did not do any other TV appearances other than Letterman. Why did they stop?

Eddie played Letterman to promote his Uke album so I don't think it's anything more than doing something different instead of the same show every album. They played Conan and Fallon twice along with a return to SNL over the last 2 albums and I expect they'll return to Letterman one more time before he retires.

If anything, I'd point to demographics: Letterman's audience is older and Fallon, ergo Uke Song for Dave, rockers for Fallon. PJ's trying to get a new (younger) audience interested. They'll probably go back another day.
Also: Jonathan Cohen is the music booker for Fallon and he wrote a bunch of PJ articles for Billboard back in the day, plus compiled the PJ20 book.
