I havent seen a show pull off the slow burn of an investigation this well since the hunt for the killer of Adena Watson.

I imagine a man like the arabber would stick out like a sore thumb in the universe created in true detective. In Baltimore however, there is no doubt in my mind he was guilty.

Adena Watson was an impulsive crime, this one was more premeditated. I dont like the arabber for this one.

You see, I don't think he did. When they broke him down in the box to the point where he just couldn't take it anymore, he didn't say: "I did it!" It was more like (I can't get the exact wording right because I can't find the scene on Youtube): "I don't know if I did it!" The arabber isn't a criminal mastermind (which doesn't mean he's not intelligent, I just think he woulda made a mistake somewhere that would've tied him closer to the crime [I know, I know, the rain could've washed that away, but still]), and he might be a strong-willed person, but I think he would've broken at that point. It also probably makes the case even more horrifying if it was something completely random (someone picks Adena up simply because of opportunity and kills her). Just my two cents.@SkitchP wrote:Simple Torture wrote:Do you think the arabber did it? See, I always viewed him as a guy, obviously struggling with addiction, who wasn't really aware of what he did. I think he committed the murder, but couldn't even admit it to himself, much less someone else. I think he regretted the monster he had become, almost to the point he viewed it as a different person. And the absolute electrifying performance of Pembleton and Bayliss in the box that evening almost forced him to admit to himself, and them, who he really had become.

Her half-naked slender body got me all hot & bothered. Woody Harrelson must have enjoyed the shit out of this production.

Yeah, the girl is like a living photoshop.

But, there's a lot to this show besides her.

The cinematographer (Adam Arkapaw) for this was also the cinematographer for Top of the Lake.
