Re: Philip Seymour Hoffman
Any early death is sad. I am just shocked that he was only 46. Honestly, until I saw it on a second source, I thought the person typing accidentally did the numbers in the wrong order. Has the drug thing been a decades long issue?

Re: Philip Seymour Hoffman
From what I read, apparently he had drug issues when he was young and managed to kick them by the age of 23. Then maybe in the last year or two, he started on prescription drugs, went to snorting heroin, and then began injecting it. He's done a recent stint in rehab too, I think.daft twat wrote:Any early death is sad. I am just shocked that he was only 46. I'm sure all the correct details will start coming out soon, only to be completely misinterpreted and misreported by the media.
He's got 3 kids aged 10 and under. So sad.

James Lipton just gave a very impassioned speech on "Morning Joe".

this guy was incredible. there's only a few actors ive seen change from role to role the way this guy did. it was like he changed everything about himself. his range was amazing. this totally sucks. RIP

Before the Devil Knows your dead - very underrated performance I think. he was excellent in that.
Also loved his ridiculous role in Along Came Polly.
Fantastic actor. one of the best.
