"Did I Hear You Say You Love Me" is a good song.

"All I Do" is a really good song, love that one.

"Rocket Love" is kind of pretty. Yeah I like it.

"I Ain't Gonna Stand For It" is a kind of weird fusion of disco and country, and Stevie seems to be trying to sing like a cowboy, but OK.

"As If You Read My Mind" is a good song.

"Master Blaster" is obviously a good song.

"Do Like You" is pretty good. He sings his heart out towards the end, which is always nice.

"Cash In Your Face" is a great song title. I like it. I like the slow groove and the pauses. It kind of drones on a bit, but I basically like what it's doing so that's OK.

"Lately" is a nice cheesy song. Reminds me of Whitney Houston. Meh, OK, I guess it's getting to that era.

"Happy Birthday" is sort of... I don't get it. But I already knew it.

Wait, just read this on Wikipedia:

"Happy Birthday" is a 1981 single written, produced, and performed by Stevie Wonder for the Motown label. Wonder, a social activist, was one of the main figures in the campaign to have the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. become a national holiday, and created this single to make the cause known. Besides being released as a single, the song also appears on Wonder's album Hotter Than July."

So that's pretty cool, it could convince me the other way.

I enjoy it enough when I listen to it, but I can't remember the last time I actually had an urge to listen to Hotter Than July. I've been on a pretty gnarly Stevie kick since October, and haven't played it in that whole time. I'm probably gonna try to give it a listen in the next few days.

All I Do and Master Blaster I can see going back to, but only because I already liked them. I still like the musicianship and the production of the album is tight, so yeah, nice listen. It's a shame it's less "funk" and more "disco", but oh well there's enough there. I was never a big disco fan, I prefer the intricacy of funk.

Songs in the Key of Life was 2 LPs with a Bonus 7" called "Something Extra." When they put it onto CD, they stuck the four tracks from the bonus 7" onto the end of CD 2. Another Star is the true closing track to the album, the others are kinda bonus tracks.

Oh, OK!

I think I'd switch your top two around but they're brilliant songs so I'm hardly committed to that. Other than that I agree with your list.
