I've been tempted by that AIC album for a while but I heard it so much when it came out that it feels over-played. It's also a bit pricey for some reason.

I only got it because my fiancee told me to pick something out that she'd buy for me; she said to get something that wasn't a "good deal" and that seemed to fit the bill! I hadn't listened to any AIC in a while, so it was great to throw it on.

Meant for the user, not for the Simpsons discussion.

I love how the song really kicks into another gear when he sings "Nothin' like a freight train..."

I just ordered another Smog record ("Red Apple Falls") which I may have listened to once or twice ever, but when I saw it was back in stock at Drag City I couldn't help myself.

I need to buy something to put my Marantz and table on in my new house now that I actually have the space in my living room for my records. Any ideas? Went to some antique stores with someone yesterday and had my eye out for something that would work but didn't have any luck...

I can't find any tables on the standard outlet sites that aren't a complete rip off.

Ever hear of Torche? Before Torche there was Floor. Sludgy, heavy, melodic metal from Florida.

Always had trouble finding the pressing from 2002, so Robotic Empire gave it the old reissue treatment with a bonus seven inch. There was a summer a few years ago where I was obsessed with this record, glad to finally have a proper copy.

Oh and I dug out my old full classic ipod today and freed about 14 gigs. Tossed a ton of Ben Harper off that motherfucker.

I think now that I am a home owner I should be at least partially concerned with aesthetics.

I'll have to give them a listen!

I just ordered Endless Boogie's "Long Island" LP.
