Gravity. Looked amazing. Sandra bullock. Ugh. Shoot me now.
Wolf of Wall Street. Two hours too long and really not worth it.
American hustle. Do not understand what's goin on on this film at all. Probably my bale allergy preventing me liking it. Bad Scorsese knock off. Even the overbearing soundtrack bit.
Walter Mitty up next.

Of the movies I've watched recently - I think I liked Walter Mitty the best.dimejinky99 wrote:Gravity. Looked amazing. Sandra bullock. Ugh. Shoot me now.

I'm hopeful for it too. These three weren't great.

Netflixers, check out Les Lyonnias...or A Gang Story on the Netflix.
yea.
what's up with the missing subtitles every now and then? or sometimes, it seems like they aren't even there. think i'll go out and purchase this movie just to make up for those missed titles. oh, and it's pretty freaking cool movie.

i'm imagining since you never followed up you didn't. a friend just watched it and said he hated it. asked why he said "subtitles and no Vince Vaughn". i text message slapped him.

Pain & Gain.
It had been sitting in its Netflix envelope on a table for nearly a week. Takes a while to get going but the second half is surprisingly enjoyable in "that's crazy" kind of way. It's based on a true story and while liberties were taken apparently what actually happened is even more nutso. Not your typical Michael Bay flick and while he tones it down some it's still obvious his fingerprints are all over it.

Yup. I loved that book, read it in one night, but the movie just didn't do it for me. The inclusion of the mother character was a mistake.
