Kind of. Guaranteed has more urgency in the melody though.

Speaking of that site, I came across this today. The longest charting albums of all time in New Zealand, and what a surreal little list it is.

1. The Dark Side Of The Moon, Pink Floyd - 297
2. 21, Adele - 158
3. Making Movies, Dire Straits - 149
4. Ten, Pearl Jam - 133
5 (tie) Doo Wops And Hooligans, Bruno Mars - 131 / Crime Of The Century, Supertramp - 131

I can live with that list. I thought we had worse taste over here. At least Crowded House didn't make it in the top 5

You are overrating the album, my friend.

This is chock full of 2 & 3 star tunes.

The only songs that get 4+ should be Lightning Bolt, Pendulum, & Swallowed Whole.

There are a couple more that could be argued as 3.5-4 stars, but that's it.

Sirens, Future Days, LTRP, Infallible, Getaway, are all 3 stars or less.

Yellow Moon, MYM, My Fathers Son, Sleeping by Myself are the middle ground tunes. Some days I think they are top notch, other days, not so much.

After letting this album settle in for a few months, I still have mixed feelings. I think there are more quality songs than on the last few albums, but the album itself lacks any identity or overall theme to the songs- at least to my ears. I think I will find myself occasionally plugging in some of the songs I like, but not listening to the album as a whole.

I doubt I will ever listen to Sirens, Let the Records Play, or Future Days ever again intentionally. I dont think they are objectively terrible, but there are enough other PJ songs to listen to that enjoy that I dont need to force these. They do nothing for me. The opening 10 seconds of LTRP is cool though. nice riff, cheesy song.

I still love Pendulum and Getaway.
