The Hobbit

I think Gollum was my favorite part/ and the most relate-able character

The Gollum scenes were by far the best part of this movie. I didn't have high expectations for this based on what others have said so I was satisfied with it.

It really was too long. Jackson could have cut about 20-30 minutes from the film without sacrificing plot or character development. The orc battle scene went way too long.

I have thought about it for a couple weeks now, and I still don't like this movie.

The movie was ok, I liked it, but it's not something I feel the need to own or see again. I just feel like there stretching this story more than a porn star's asshole.

Makes sense. Best part of the book, too.

So I've officially slipped into complete geekdom and bought one of these. Its Sting. Bilbo&Frodo's sword. I've always wanted one but I'm not getting into cosplay. No mater what. Gonna hang it on the cool plaque in my living room.

Sorry to disappoint but that's fanart.

Saw it in 3D/48 finally and it was jarring at first but I eventually got used to it. So much so that I really felt the "it's a window" experience.

They fucked up. Should have made Hobbit first. It was never going to meet the excitement in terms of peaks and valleys that FOTR had. The Hobbit is a totally different story with a totally different pace. The big mistake was them trying to use that same template. It was never going to work. The second will better though it was announced that the third film has been out back 6 months, for whatever reason. They're saying its a marketing thing cos the final one would clash with too many other big summer releases so they're sticking to the traditional time frame. The fans aren't so sure.

First you buy sting, next thing you know you're LARPing and eventually hosting panels at Comic Con. Its a dangerous path you're on.
