Well clearly they've lost their way.

Paramedics, nurses, prison guards, peace officers, women serving in combat roles - all careers where women come into contact with violence.
Rape is too easy and obvious because all stats show men to be the clear perpetrator in the category of rape.

I'm not sure if 'coming into contact with violence' through career choice is quite the same thing as unasked-for victimisation and violence.mookie wrote:malice wrote:which things, which women? Some women just by the nature of things have to be prepared to take a punch.

Those careers are situations in which personal choice and plenty of legal and social protections are in place.

Re: Feminism
as harmless already pointed out - these are choices to expose oneself to violent situations. and not at all related to the context of this thread as far as violent actions towards women (or provoked by them either)mookie wrote:malice wrote:which things, which women? Some women just by the nature of things have to be prepared to take a punch.

Rape is too easy and obvious because all stats show men to be the clear perpetrator in the category of rape.
and I'm baffled at the idea of rape being too easy a category to approach in this context simply because he stats show men to be the main perpetrators of such violent actions.
there's a reason for that - men are more aggressive towards women and more capable of acting on that aggression in such a way that cuts to the heart of the origins of that aggression - sexual assault.
also pointed out earlier in this thread there are also women who have used sexual assault/rape towards men. and we all know that to be true - how can all the stats possibly state only men are the perpetrators in such an event? did we all just pull the idea out of our collective asshole?
so not including rape in a discussion about women AND violence by stating it's too easy is admitting that men are more violent and more capable of acting on that violence as a form of dominance and control. there by proving the point of this discussion completely. good work

What makes you think I'm only trying to protect men from women? I'd like that humankind never utilizes violence in any form.
Women are the biggest offenders when it comes to delivering passive aggressive abuse.malice wrote:and you're NOT sticking to how women utilize violence.

Re: Feminism
Men don't typically report their abusers, even going so far as to avoid naming them. They even shoulder half of the blame if the fight becomes physical with the woman being the initiator of the violence. The shitty men, blame the woman. Women more often than not will not only name their abuser but almost never admit their part in it.malice wrote:

The point that men are the more aggressive is proven already. So now that we do not dispute that more men rape than women do - why do we concentrate on what we already know and leave all the unknown left untouched, because well....rape. It's easy to show rape stats then we forget all about how very efficient women are at violent tactics.
Feminist groups deliberately kill the idea of gender symmetry. And using rape stats is the way they do it.

You have nothing to back this up. You've heard of 'gas lighting' in cases of sexual assault and domestic abuse / violence, right? Literally baffled at your opinions here.mookie wrote:Women are the biggest offenders when it comes to delivering passive aggressive abuse.

Re: Feminism
Wow. Unbelievable. All I can see here is victim-blaming: "Yeah I hit her but she was running her mouth; the bitch should have shut up! Yeah I raped her, but did you see that skirt she was wearing? Who wouldn't?"mookie wrote:Men don't typically report their abusers, even going so far as to avoid naming them. Literally baffled that you obviously didn't read the study I posted on the prior page.
