OK. We can agree there. I just don't think it's the very best thing they did after Binaural.

Just curious, is that including 'King Animal'? Or just his Pearl Jam drumming?

I really like Matt's drumming pretty much all over Backspacer. He does underwhelm on Lightning Bolt.

He was good on King Animal, better than recent PJ, but not still not as good as RA. Personal opinion though. He was just looser on RA, less robotic.

I gave it 5 stars. I just absolutely love this song.

I love the riffs, the drums, the vocals, all of it. It's such an odd but catchy great song. Weird time signature. And man I love the outro. Riot Act is full of great outro's and this is one of them. The catchy bass line and backup vocals are great. It really doesn't sound like anything in their catalog yet still sounds like Pearl Jam. And it's also good live.

Just one of my favorite songs, top tier.

But anyone who thinks that Parachutes is better than anything on Riot Act is kinda dumb.
i feel like you're getting at something here

I love Cropduster. It might be my second favorite track on Riot Act (after You Are). This performance wails.

Who was it that made the 2003 multi-disc live mix that totally excluded this song? They should be publicly shamed again.

I was just listening to Binaural and Riot Act again to see if I like them any better now. Binaural a little. You guys were talking about Matt's drumming in Cropduster above. Are there any songs where his fills are creative or interesting? What really stuck out for me this time around was how repetitive and bland he can be - Save You especially. I can't imagine drumming for as long as he has and then choosing to play Save You that way.

Cropduster fuckin rules. I know a lot of people think the Sydney '03 version is the best live version, but these are my favorites. Any other great versions I'm missing?
