As amazing as those shoes look, I don't think t2b is going to enjoy running his ultra marathons in them.

Call me old fashioned, but I really don't like the pointed-toe dress shoes. I much prefer the traditional rounded toe.

A friend of mine is a New Balance loyalist like me and jumped on the Fresh Foam bandwagon. He hates them and is giving them to me (we are the same size). I'm kinda intrigued by them. While not really a minimalist shoe, they do have only a 4mm drop and weigh just 8.5 ounces.

I wear Nike Tiempo soccer boots but I've heard nothing but bad things as far as their running shoes are concerned so I have never tried them.

Yeah, their running shoes are garbage. The Pegasus use to be the exception, but they have even ruined those the last few years. I will give them some credit for helping to popularize minimalism with the Frees, but they were terrible to actually run in.

eh, i dont really have a running sure. i do my cardio in Nike Air Max. I tried rebook's once and manu ginobli'd them within a week. never tried them again.

Question for t2b or wioever else: I'm looking for a running stroller and was hoping to get feedback from someone who may have used one before. Brands? Price/quality differences, etc.

Just looking for good bang for the buck. I don't wanna go high end, but I don't want something that is cumbersome to use either.

Kaius, I have two running strollers. This one is for the older kids. It'll easily fit 2 kids under 8 or so or one pre-teen. It's a knock-off of a more expensive brand name stroller. It's also very easy to convert into a bike trailer. The wheels are pretty big and it moves smoothly with minimal effort. It's honestly the best $150 I ever spent on running equipment. I trained almost exclusively for my last 24-hour race pushing one or both of my kids in this. The key is that the front wheel is full-size, not one of the dinky wheels that come on most convertibles.

The other one I have is an older version of this. It's been good as well, just not as great as the Schwinn. I have to use it for our 18-month-old because the Schwinn is so big, she wants to try to unbuckle herself and explore the stroller. These InSTEP stroller get really mixed reviews, but I think they offer the best bang for the buck. I'm sure as fuck not spending $500 on a BOB.

I personally think a fixed front wheel is the way to go and the larger in diameter the wheels are the better. I would also buy some Slime right away and seal all the tires.
